1. Introduction
RackMonkey is a web-based tool for managing racks of equipment such as web servers, video encoders, routers and storage devices. Using a simple interface you can keep track of what's where, which OS it runs, when it was purchased, who it belongs and what it's used for.
Thank you for choosing to try RackMonkey v1.2.4, I hope you find it useful in bringing (and keeping) order in your data centres.
2. New in this Release
v1.2.4 has a large number of improvements over v1.2.3. These include:
- Improved interface
- Device search
- Device and Rack copying
- Filtering of Device view
- Experimental MySQL 5 support

3. Obtaining RackMonkey
The easiest way to obtain a copy of RackMonkey is to download a tarball of the current release from http://www.rackmonkey.org.
