Iona 2008
I am travelling to Iona in the Inner Hebrides for a few days in June. I wanted somewhere tranquil and remote, yet accessible by public transport. Having seen Iona on Civilisation, I decided it seemed like a good choice. When I found I could use a seaplane to get from Glasgow to Oban my mind was made up. There are five legs to the journey, which I will be doing over two days, with a night in Oban:
- London to Glasgow by train
- Glasgow to Oban by seaplane
- Oban to Craignure, Mull, by ferry
- Craignure to Fionnphort by coach
- Fionnphort to Baile Mor, Iona, by ferry
I will be taking my DV camera with me and will post a video when I get back.
